Platonic Famine: The Erosion of Our Consciousness,
by Andre Broadwater

Society keeps becoming more unpredictable. Wealthy people continue to profit at the expense of lower income individuals. Corporate America pays fewer taxes than working class people. There is something very wrong with this picture. It's just another example of our crumbling democracy. Counterfeit ethics continues to move our nation backwards. As a society, we are trained to trust other people's judgment before we trust our own. We ve also been conformed to believe that domestication is a must, when it's really a choice. How much more psychotic can one become? We must have our own train of thought. Falling prey to mind control is self-abolition.

The continued slipperiness, hypocrisy, infamy, and chaotic parameters have no end in sight. We must uphold civil liberties and the constitution. Not undermine the two. The same people that eliminate our freedoms capitalize from it. Hard working citizens are left confused, mentally exhausted, and oppressed. It's really sad when too many of them don't even realize it. We must open our eyes and read between the lines. Profits before people is what our society is based upon. Too many of our people have been desensitized by inferiority. They've been trained to focus strictly on capitalization instead of true emotional security.

Common sense and authentic values appears to be a lost cause. The result of such behavior is disastrous. People must learn how to live life as full individuals. If more citizens were complete beings, we would live in a better place. Instead of listening to others so often, we must exercise our own opinions. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Unfortunately, some people have no minds at all. Hopefully, they will eventually locate a spare.

This present culture has become too technology based. Identity theft is completely out of control. Yet, society continues to move us into electronic servitude by way of surveillance, smart cards, paperless transactions, and biometrics. This is extremely contradictive. It makes us even more vulnerable than anything. Our whole lives will eventually be monitored and cataloged. They call it convenience. In reality, it s truly a method of complete social control. New world order will soon become a terrible reality. Too many of our people have been programmed like computers. The future appears to be very vague and uncertain.

It appears that our past will continue to resurface in the modern day. As people, we should strive to dismantle our generational bindings. No one has to keep repeating mistakes of the past. Instead, people choose to carry on these dangerous trends and drive our society and minds into ruin. Offspring's continue to be produced that too many times become destructive human beings. The saddest part is that it was inherited unwillingly. We must conform ourselves to envision and create new standards in our lives. This culture will only continue to collapse unless individuals enhance their mentality through independent thought. The mind has to be set free in order to spread its wings. Assuming that there are some to spread.

In life, there is a limit to what we have control over. Regardless of what, we should try to never loose touch with ourselves. It is very important that we maintain a vision and focus. The biggest problem were experiencing is a divine drought. Too many people continue to live in the shadows of fakery. Society will continue to demand a fight for our inner treasures. This fight can only be won though faith, action, persistence and truth. Society is centered on material wealth. When material possessions disappear, all we have are our tenors and instincts. A naive soul is a malnourished soul that will never find its way home.
